Did you know the life expectancy for men is 6 years less than women?
Did you know 5 preventable male deaths occur every hour?
Sadly there is no centralized clinical research facility in Australia, so research for the deadly diseases men are suffering from are not getting the care they require.
The PA Research Foundation is campaigning to bring funds to life with an Australian first research facility, The TRI Clinical Trials Centre, to appeal for the health of Aussie males.
The TRI Clinics Trial Centre will help to find better diagnosis, treatment and preventions to serious health concerns like; heart disease, cancers and diabetes, the main health issues facing the men of Australia.
The centre will also provide first-in-human clinical trials to examine disease causes, effects on the body and the development of new drugs and treatments under careful watch.
While the building is already in place, there are hundreds of patients ready to volunteer their disease; funding is needed for the manpower to begin the clinical trials.
As part of the campaign, PA Research Foundation are appealing for the ManDate Leave Pass; a pass to give the man in your life the afternoon off to see a GP for a general check up, and spend the rest of the day on a Man ‘date’.
